I purchased two of these mats for the kitchen. One is in front of the cooktop and the other is in front of the sink. The brown looks great on our new LVP flooring, and they seem to be very high quality. The texture is easy to clean since there aren't any nooks and crannies, which is a bonus. They are very heavy, but still "walk" across the floor a little bit after a couple days. I don't mind having to reposition them though, and overall am very satisfied with my purchase.. Anonymous. Ok, I know I’m not using these as your typical “kitchen mats”, but I meant to order black instead of grey, so I messed up. My kitchen is a mixture of “old world” Italian-ish colors …lovely greens, deep old reds, creams, tans, with lots of black accents, so I thought the black mats would be perfect. When I realized I’d gotten grey instead - and saw how insanely nice they are - I decided to use them on my enclosed balcony where I needed a bit of “edging coverage” at the doors anyway. Although this obviously isn’t the ideal place for them, these mats are extremely nice. They are indeed very thick, and they are SO comfortable to walk on. When I walk outside, they are so comfy on your feet that it feels like you’re stepping out onto a cloud! Love the color too since it matches my indoor/outdoor carpet. I hope to try the black another time, but if you’re looking for a top quality, extremely comfortable set of fatigue mats for your kitchen (or anywhere!), I would absolutely recommend this set! We love this mat, and so does our dog. We just got the latest one for our dog so he does not block the sink by sitting on our first Damien Anti-Fatigue mat. The mat is very cushy to stand on, and it is insulated from the cool floor. Max still prefers the first mat over the second mat, which we placed in front of his food bowl, even though the two are identical.
