Ge 36 In Wide 251 Cu Ft Sidebyside Refrigerator With External Ice Water Dispenser Stainl

See GE Appliances Refrigeration in a whole new light, literally! Our redesigned Side-by-Side now incorporates LED Light Walls that illuminate the fridge and freezer, so you can see it all and find it fast. Models also include an extra tall, 11-inch water dispenser, so there’s no more tilting and spilling just to get your favorite water bottle to fit. Additional features take organization to the next level: adjustable shelves help fit tall items wherever you need them, wide shelves accommodate half baking sheets, an in-door icemaker creates freezer shelf space, and extra-large door bins help fit everyone in the family’s groceries.

Got this GE fridge to replace an old GE Profile that finally died. Loved that fridge! This is level down, due to not wanting to spend so much money. It was delivered today, so not sure about the actual function. Few things though that your engineers or designers should think about. My husband is very handy and decided to hookup the water line himself. Problem is the piece that you have to insert the copper water line to is very short, and initially leaked. Also, on door with water/ice, the shelf maybe should have a well built there to catch dripping water or any excess ice. Just 2 initial thoughts so far. I'm hoping to love this one as much as I did my old one... we'll have to see. Quick update: yes, you need to add a well or lip to ice/water fixture. I went to try out the ice 2 days later, it grinned for at least a minute before actually dispensing ice, then it shot out like a bat. Had ice all over the floor due to my glass not being able to hold the amount dispensed. I'm not sure what the problem or answer is.. Lucypearl289. New Jersey. Fri Aug 21 2026

I love the design and room of this new fridge. However the ice dispenser is NOT good. Does not dispense ice consistently. I have to reach up from outside and release ice. This ice dispenser design is NOT user friendly.. Bodkin. Tue Aug 18 2026

I really like this fridge. It has the fridge on one side freezer on the other ample storage. The water dispenser has a light on it. You can have crushed or cubed ice. The only thing I had an issue with was delivery I paid for delivery and installation of my new product and removal of the old when the delivery guy came. He did not install or removed and so after talking with Wayfair for over an hour, they told me they would give me a refund which I have not seen as of yet so will be reaching out again.. Shantela. This refrigerator is very stylish. We bought a counter depth. They are smaller but this one is very well appointed. The drawers slide so nice. Has a Deli drawer and a Butter keeper. Which most refrigerators no longer have. Helps to keep everything organized. The freezer has 2 drawers and really nice wire shelves on the door that bend out. There is even a little shelf above the ice maker. Perfect for ice cream bars. It is made in Kentucky. One of the reason I bought it. Love, Love, Love this refrigerator.. Gooddkitty. Were revolutionizing the way homes work with features that allow you to do more; through remote monitoring, voice activation and technology that takes the guess work out of cooking and cleaning. This is smarter living.

It’s a nice fridge. But I assumed wrongly that the water dispenser would be a door-in-door feature to minimize cooling loss while filling. Alas this is not the case; water dispensing is quite inefficient and environmentally unfriendly. Aside from that I like the appliance.. Mrsmack26. New Orleans. Mon Sep 21 2026

I love this counter depth refrigerator. We received it a few weeks later than originally scheduled, but it was better than not getting it at all. Thanks goodness for Wayfair! I couldn’t order it anywhere without waiting over 5 to 6 months. The inside drawer within the freezer drawer had a small piece broken. But I was able to send a video to the tech and the part was ordered and received. I love the fact that you don’t see fingerprints. I went from a side by side to the French door and it is so much easier to find what we are looking for and organization is a breeze with all the door shelves.. Diane. Davie, FL. Mon Sep 06 2021
