I have not been able to have my contractor install this just yet as we are waiting for the soaking tub to be installed first. However, I am very impressed by the weight and quality of this 18” grab bar. It will be much needed as the soaking tub I also purchased from Wayfair is about 26”high and will require me to step over the side to get in, so a grab bar is essential. The hardware that comes with this includes two matching gold screws for each end of the grab bar and two wall anchors for each end. My contractor plans to install this into studs for added safety. I will definitely add new photos of this grab bar as soon as it is installed, as currently the project is running a bit behind. However I am very happy with this item and would recommend it.. Really sturdy shower base. I would buy again. I thought the pressure-fit drain would be handy, but my plumber refused to use it because he said they can cause problems. So that wasn't much of a value. But overall a great product. Just make sure to specify where you want the drain. When they asked, I said it didn't really matter, because I was plumbing a new drain to it. But I said, "Well, just put it in the center." But maybe because I hadn't specified that on the order, they sent the drain in the rear center, as shown. And it barely worked, because there was a joist super close!
