This is a nice little blender for the price … I wish it came with an extra bottle because I can’t seem to find one anywhere and that is annoying. Most people need more than one bottle if they use these blenders on a daily basis.. I will be honest and tell you that I have not tried anything chunky in it. It seems more on the milder side so I don’t know how it would handle anything chunky but for my protein drinks it does the job just fine.. Needlessly skeptical.... When I opened the box and removed the unit my first thought was oh, this is going back...however, after assembling it I decided to give it a chance. That was a good choice...and so is this little food processor. I was totally surprised at the speed with which it chops, slices, etc. It packs some power that's hidden in its compact size. I've been using it over and over again since then. As far as quantity, well, if you have a larger quantity than it can hold in the jar after slicing its easily emptied and ready for more and does it quickly. I have a larger Cuisinart but love that this one is truly lightweight and comfortably fits in my kitchen cabinets (hate clutter on my countertops). Clean up is a breeze too! So, between my new 3qt Instant Pot, my 4 cup Food Processor and B&D Toaster that were all recently purchased from Wayfair (quick delivery on all !), I have to send out a BIG THANK YOU for having a great line of appliances.. I add milk, preserves and soft ice cream scoops with a spoon and it won't blend that. I have followed smoothie recipe making sure to add ingredients in order and it jams up. The base only holds charge for 4 blends so keep the cable close. There is absolutely no way this will blend ice unless the ice is thawed (water).
