These are really pretty and whimsical at nighttime. They should definitely be put in an area that gets plenty of sun to work optimally. The packaging is terrible, however. Both times I ordered them, there wasn’t any outer packaging, just the manufacturer’s box, which wasn’t even taped shut on the ends. The second set I received was missing parts, which had clearly fallen out of the package during shipping. I have an indoor porch that I wanted to string lights up and for ambiance. Ive always had trouble because the string lighting that I normally get all has to be plugged in at some point. This lighting is the best. I love the light that it gives off and the fact that it has flashing options like Christmas lights would. The fact that its solar powered is everything that I needed. The only downside is having to find a place to put the UV receiver so that it will get enough sunlight too power the next night. I turn these on every night and it lasts hours.
