This is a very substantial planter box. It is made of manufactured wood and quite heavy. I got the 4 ft.² model and it’s lovely. The weight of the package when it arrives is about 35 pounds for the 4 ft.² piece. Side pieces are a little over 10 inches high, which makes plenty of depth for planting vegetables or flowers. I can’t wait to get this planted, it’s going to look beautiful. It’s made very substantially and I expect it to hold up for a very long time very pleased with it.
