I am overjoyed this replacement unit seems to work! The temperature hasn't soared yet, so I'll wait until it does to give a proper assessment. At first glance of the packaging though, I felt I was getting a working unit. Box was clean and inside was brand new. There were no dents on the uniot like the first one. This brought the temperature to my desired setting and keeps it there. The consumption on the electric will tell over time but for my comfort and piece of mind it is priceless. When I got the unit I left it sitting for about five days and it’s working perfectly. It holds pretty steady without the turning on and off. Even when on Eco mode. - There's no added moisture in the air, the room doesn't feel clammy and gross when the AC is running. It's comfortable. Also, great that this is a split unit that can also heat in the winter - years ago, we had another pump that wouldn't heat if the temp <31 degrees F, making it pointless.
