The globes are also a standard size and could easily be replaced if needed or if you wanted a different look. Picture on wayfair site is slightly misleading. I should have read the description regarding the shade color. It is white not amber as it appears on the website. It was also a little tricky getting the shade to center on the base due to the round metal fixture to hold the shade in place easily moved the shade to the side.
