For the price of $809 and free shipping this was worth it for me. Having said that, there are issues. The ash drops through a chute BEHIND and underneath the unit. I have not figured out what can be put back there to collect ashes. It will have to be a wide short metal bucket of some type. I think this should have been mentioned and provided or be for optional order. Then there is the ridiculous excuse for an owners/instruction manual. How hard would it have been to expand that just a little...for instance...I do not know what the lever in front underneath the firebox is for...I assume for dropping ash.......then there is the problem of .....is the back position closing up the ash drop, or is the forward position that causes ash to drop? The unit was built in November of 2025 and arrived Dec 15, 2025 but all that notes that on the metal sheet from the back is a dimple in a box, and for the model number. I might have bought a different make of wood stove had I known all the above for $100 more plus the separate purchase of a blower....and all of them seemed to be out of stock. The US1100E-L stove comes with elegant legs base and can heat up to 1,200 sq. ft. with 68,000 BTUs.? A smooth arch door with air washed ceramic glass allows a magnificent view of the burning fire that will enhance any hearth setting. How it works: the primary air inlet at the front of the stove ignites the wood upon start up. Once burning, the secondary air inlet at the rear of the firebox feeds air to the top of the stove through three (3) ignition tubes directly above the wood. The result is that you have ignition, or fire, at the bottom and at the top of the wood stove which, in effect, consumes the wood. This is a very efficient method of getting the most energy possible out of the wood that you are burning. This stove meets the stringent requirements of the EPA certification guidelines.? I bought this stove 2 years ago and it heats throughout my entire home (1,240 sqft). Ash drawer doesn't catch anything and I also had to modify the bottom choke. Well worth the money. I was anxious ordering this because of the lack of reviews and because of the high price. I selected it because I weigh less than this stove and my strength is moderate at best so anything cast iron was out of the question to move down the stairs of my home. The main caveat to my review is that this is my first wood burning stove so I have nothing to compare it to and it is intended to be primarily decorative so I’m not really testing its heating capacity (also it arrived in June). Overall impressions, it seems really high quality to me. It looks beautiful and functions well. It arrived in pristine condition and held up well to my honestly pretty rough handling of it as I pulled it up and down stairs. Barely a scratch on it despite it tipping over once and slamming down to the ground several times as I pulled it up my porch steps. The metal didn’t even dent during all of that. It is very sturdy. When it comes to the total weight and ease of moving, it is very easy to remove to door so you don’t need to worry about the glass shattering in case there are any mishaps. I was able to pry out the vermiculite board in addition to removing the door which brought the weight down by probably close to 30 lbs. Nothing else was easily removable. For installation, the top of the stove is 39.5 inches. I didn’t measure before sticking it inside another pipe, but the male connector at the top is about 4-5 inches on top of that (I wasn’t sure whether the 39.5 in was the top of the stove or top of the connector when I ordered). The fit between the male connector on the top of the stove and the female pipe is very tight to the point where I had to really fuss with it using pliers and rubber mallet to get it to fit into the female pipe end..
