Update: Even though I initially thought this was the perfect rug, it is definitely not for high traffic areas. I had it in my living room - It's just my husband and I. It has matted terribly. It is absolutely more beautiful than I ever imagined. It had a little bit of curled edges; however, my husband turned them the opposite way to try to uncurl them and it ended up laying nicely. The colors are beautiful - cream, gray and dark brown. It matches in my living room beautifully. My couch and chair are darker gray, my lamps are light gray, my floor is oak and most of my furniture is oak. I also just purchased a picture that goes with it all. The rug has a little low shag. This is a beautiful rug. It has blues, browns, tans, and white, and it's so, so soft. I vacuum it using the lesser suction setting and I've had no issues. It hasn't shed, and no threads have been sucked up in the vacuum cleaner. It also has a nice pile to it as well. Not to thin, not to thick. It arrived earlier than expected. I love it. The area rug is a thick, lush shag that feels great underfoot.
