Don’t remember reading in description it is NOT recommended to hang on drywall, but by the time I was reading the instructions, I was already committed. A bubble level and drill bit were even included to hang the shelf. I installed by myself (72 yo F) with help from a barstool and trashcan providing support while doing final installation. I used expanding wall anchors and so far it seems stable. The top screws on the wall bracket were hard to reach due to placement and support bracket being in the way, so I took frequent breaks when the screws were not cooperating. CONS -Everything is unlabeled (except for 5 boards with market) -All tools hardware are mixed together -One single page of random photos are the “instructions” -No guide points for where to put the desk hingesholds -Ugly hardware -The door on the upper shelf is too small and does not match up with the edges -Every piece on the dark wood has light edges -Too much of a hassle to take apart to return -NOT worth the price PROS -No wooden dowels -Works I guess but won’t be pretty, even for 170 which is crazy work Wayfair Overall do not get this, I’m being generous with 2 stars. This thing is worth 30 max, I feel like I should be paid for figuring out the build. I thought it was going to be revealed that I was on a game show where they reward people for figuring out how to build crummy furniture. If I hadn’t just moved and already built 10 other things I would’ve been lost. Also most things now provide stickers to cover ugly hardware and help it blend better, this could’ve benefitted from the addition.
