It's a chair mat, and it does the job of keeping my desk chair from ripping up the carpet in my home office. I bought this in 2023, and it's still doing great. I remember that it arrived rolled up, and it took at least a full day for me to get it to flatten out, placing it under my flat-bottomed coffee table and pressing the corners with heavy books, so be mindful of that.. I ordered these chair mats recently and was a little surprised that they felt pretty cold when they arrived. If you’re ordering during the winter, I’d recommend letting them sit at room temperature for a while before unrolling them. Once they warmed up and I followed the instructions, they flattened out without any issues. So far they’ve been working really well. My chair glides smoothly on the carpet now, which is a big improvement from before. They also look nice and are easy to wipe clean, so maintenance has been simple. The mat looks like it is very good quality. I’ve gone through a lot of chair mats over the years so we’ll see how it holds up over time. I just wish it had cleats for carpet so it won’t move around, but maybe the cleats are what have caused failures I’m my other mats.. Anonymous. Fri Oct 27 2023
