This one-of-a-kind art glass bowl is utilizing a centrifuge process that spins molten glass in large copper. The shape is formed after the glass stops spinning and the artisans begin to shape, mold, cut, and reheat the glass into the shape. After a long annealing process, the glass is cool, stable, and able to be packed.

Faux Bois, French meaning for false wood. This mold-formed glass is made in China. The finished surface is achieved by using decals with sand texture embedded into the decals. The decals are fired onto the glass, giving each a unique texture and light brown wash to the surface of the glass.
