I have never owned or used a basketball hoop so selecting one for my kids was tough. I read so many reviews that it eventually seemed that unless you spend 1000 bucks, you dont get quality. My initial hope to spend less than 300 had to be forgotten- it seems that all those come from the same Asian factory and have the same issues. Then I read somewhere about Gorilla. The positive reviews were much more numerous than elsewhere and so I decided to spend more but be sure both my tall teenager and my shorter girl will be able to use it and enjoy it. The bow arrived in good shape. You really need to be two for the assembly and you need a wrench with some add ons that I actually do not own. Luckily there were handymen in our house and so borrowed theirs… We assembled it with my 15 yrs old son on our driveway. Double-checking every step not to make an mistake took us 2 hours in total. The assembly is not hard and the instructions were pretty clear. The hardest part came at the end, when tightening the screws of the basket rim. This required a bit of patience. Also, be sure to get something sturdier to lay the pole on than just the regular trashbin like we did. At some point the weight of the hoop pushed through the top of the bin:). But we moved quickly and saved the situation. Moving the hoop is safer with two people. Using the handke to change the height from a kids height to a teenage height is so easy that my little daughter can do it herself. The hoop looks nice. My wife and daughter play our new table more than me, but when I do play I’m the champ. We’re having a blast. The Atomic Azure was a very good choice. I researched for a few hours total, and this is the table I chose. It took me about three hours fully assemble the table, most of the time was spent putting the players and bumpers together and making sure everything was lines up properly. I have to say the manufacturer made it pretty much dummy proof. The lights, sound, and automatic score board make the table come to life. I cannot say enough about this basketball hoop. Putting this together took about 2-3 hours for two people. (Another couple hours and cure time for the hole and concrete) The quality of this hoop is impressive. The ease of following instructions and having everything labeled and in order was greatly appreciated. This company should set the standard for how other companies should label and provide step by step instructions it was the best I have ever seen. Everything from top to bottom on this hoop is quality craftsmanship. The crank is really easy and allows you to move the hoop to different heights, the pole is solid and the wrap around mats are awesome. The backboard is really sharp, this will last a very long time. Table is great well built. There are no complaints with product. It was packed unbelievably well. Wood on outside of box and wood support inside. Lots of foam wrapping the product. It weighs a lot. We tried to get in room delivery but it wasn’t available. Even though it was offered . I got a furniture strap that worked but it was hard on my old back. I just assembled it and it wasn't too difficult. I'm not very handy (though my wife is) and we got it assembled in a couple hours. It's easy to move and easy to adjust the height, which isn't always true for these kinds of units. The backboard has the deadening effect for bank shots that is common for these units, but not true to play on a basketball court. The oddest feature is that, if you make a shot on the 10-foot setting, there's a good chance the ball will hit the lip of the base and deflect 50 feet away. It's like punishment for making the shot.
