It is tall enough but a smaller size for rooms with a smaller footprint. It took about 3 hours on the first nightstand to assemble. The directions were pretty straightforward but 2 of the pieces were not labeled correctly. I had to take it all apart and reassemble it. That was not fun as you can imagine. You need to have a hammer and a screwdriver to assemble it. I like that it has a charging station on the top of the nightstand. It has a USB and a C port near the back of the top of the nightstand. It makes it so easy to plug in your phone, tablet, or other electronics at night. There is a plug in cord that comes off the back. It is made of engineered wood, but the white finish is nice. It says to just wipe it with a dry cloth. It has a contemporary look that will add charm to a bedroom, as an end table, in a dorm, or living room, beside a bed or a couch. It has 2 drawers that have a nice glide assembly for easy opening and shutting. They are a nice place for your glasses, remotes, magazines, or snacks. It measures: 15.5" D x 18.7" W x 21.7" H. You join the parts with a cam-bolt, which I think makes it sturdier. It also has some nice metal handles on the drawers that are a brass/gold color. That is really popular in decorating now. It comes with felt pads for the bottom of the legs to keep your floors from scratching. The back of the nightstand is finished. It has a 30-day limited warranty. I ordered 2 of these nightstands and love both. They feel solid, seem to be well-designed overall, and fit the look I was going for. They do take a bit of time to build - theres 31 pieces of metal and MDF in total, and scads of fasteners of several types. For the first one I didnt time myself exactly, but did manage to watch the movie Christine from beginning to end, as well as 23rds of the original Fright Night, both with commercials LOL I cant give 5 stars for the product, though, for this reason While the first went together perfectly, the second one seemed ... sloppier, for lack of a better word. The white paint wasnt as even in appearance or color, and some pieces didnt fit together as snuggly. The worst though was the secret compartment on back - I had to remove and tear it apart 3 times to sand down 3 pieces a full 116th of an inch (either they were cut too big or the pre-drilled holes were in the wrong place), move the position of the metal sliders, and drill new holes for the backer board because the compartment just. would. not. close. flush with the frame. 2 hours later after fiddling with it, it works like it should, but if I had opened and assembled that 1 first, I would have sent the other back unopened. I recently purchased this dresser and two nightstands set in Walnut and overall I’m very happy with it. The color is beautiful and it arrived very well packaged with no damage. Assembly for the dresser did take some time since there are quite a few parts and you have to build all six drawers, but the instructions were clear and easy to follow. I’d definitely recommend putting it together with another person to make the process smoother. It’s a bit smaller than a standard dresser, but perfect for my small guest room.
