We just had it installed yesterday. Recommend that you get a print out of the specifications and the installation. From what I was able to read in Wayfare’s description section, we would be able to install the unit flush with the ceiling. And unfortunately, because I didn’t have printed specifications we had to drop down the unit a foot from the ceiling. Not the inconspicuous flush mount unit and I was hoping for. According to my contractor, this was a very complicated unit to install. To be fair this is a relatively new category of range top hoods that are being offered. Pleased with the noise level, but have yet to cook with it. Read reviews from other previous purchasers, and a common statement was how small the remote controller was. My electricians installed 9 of these into our new house with Spitfire Fanimation fans so that we wouldn't need to mount remotes on our walls. I select this switch option because we do not have light kits with our fans. No issues with install but I find the the lowest setting on the switch is still really fast. It seems like there needed to be at least another one or two lower speed settings on these switches. Small, but washes great. Getting the 3rd row is worth it, Quiet which we were hoping for. Appreciate that we were able to match the front panel to our cabinets.
