We replaced a mismatched basic desk and a 6 cube storage with this to give my daughter a bit more functional space for organizing. Her room has a nice long wall so we have it fully extended straight across. It took 3 of us about 2.5hrs to fully assemble, not hard just a lot of pieces with all the drawers. I got this desk to update my daughters play area, as seen from pictures. You can't see the desk, but it's there. It's a good size, not too big and not too small and the colors are as described on the webpage. Assembly was normal for this type of desk. Drawers slide well and hold a decent amount of precious small things. I like how the shelves are accessible from both sides rather than having a back (see other pic). I did pick up the desk to move it and snapped the top part off....very jankily kept together, so if you move it...use two people and be mindful where you grab cus that top desk part will blow off in a mild sneezing fit.
