The fan is a.little louder than my old one was, but ok. The package arrived safely(extremely well packed) and on time. The only problem we had was removing the knockout, the vent access. Great product so far. And aesthetically, the most minimal and elegant dehumidifier I could find. Took about 24 hours to dehumidify our piano room and get it to the humidity level I set it to (from 55% to 45%). It's not the most quiet appliance, but it is very effective and isn't in our main living space, so it's perfect for us. So far the manual setting works pretty well. I set it to 45% and it automatically turns on and off to keep the humidity level around there. I have a hygrometer near the piano that tracks humidity level and it's staying very steady since getting this dehumidifier. I'm also I glad I got the one with wi-fi connection. You can control everything through the app– turn the dehumidifier on/off; change the modes between Auto, "Dry" (the manual mode), Quiet, Fan, and Continuous; and fan speed. This is a great upgrade for your kitchen hood. It just takes your kitchen up to a whole Nother level. Insulation was simple however, note that we did have to buy by the duct venting supplies theyre not included so we bought the coil hose and clamp and the heat resistant tape no big deal. Its very quiet And the plus of having a remote control to operate to turn the lights on and off reduce section or increase section timer delay all that this is so nice another plus is you have a 10 year warranty so this is a 10 out of 10 in my opinion no more lousy clunkyhood range noises.
