The reason I gave it 4 stars is that it was a little firmer than I initially expected, so it may take some time to break in depending on your preference. Instructions said to have mattress with zipper side down, I didn't see any zipper. However, the back does have a silver surface so be sure to have that side on flat surface. I did not wait 72hrs but by the evening it was inflated enough for sleep. The edges are softer than center. When exiting you can feel more of the memory foam softness. We gave it 24 hours to fully expand and that’s all it needed. There was no odor whatsoever. It’s nice and firm enough that we added a topper and it’s perfect! I highly recommend this mattress.
