I recently purchased the Thermastone concrete fireplace mantel from Wayfair, and I couldn’t be happier with the result. The mantel looks incredible and like it has been part of the house forever. The finish and texture give it a timeless, substantial feel that really elevates the entire fireplace area. The installation process was also excellent. The contractor arranged through Angi did a fantastic job—professional, efficient, and clearly experienced with this type of installation. Everything fit perfectly and the final result looks seamless. One tip if you use the contractor option, make sure to share pictures of your existing fireplace when scheduling. Mine was brick, and when the contractor called to confirm the appointment, I asked if he had seen the photos and my notes. He confirmed that he had and came prepared with the right tools, which made the installation go smoothly. The safe arrived damaged from the carrier. I was assured by Sanctuary that the safe left their warehouse in perfect condition so they could do nothing to help me. The safe is well built and locking mechanism works well. This fire table has a great appearance. Smooth and sleek lines and well-crafted. It is heavy and cannot be lifted by one person alone, so be mindful of that. Hookup is standard flexline to the gas line. To light, turn the valve on and use any source of fire (i.e. it's external ignition). The flames are long and impressive, just remember to use the lava rocks (included) to form a MOUND above the fire (other images for this product reflect incorrect installation).
