This is such a gorgeous lamp. It is tall and sturdy. The base is thick and made of quality metal. It is easy to assemble and easy to position the lighting to your desired position. It is long enough to reach over the reading material and can be twisted into any position. Even when fully extended, the arm does not tip the light over due to the weighted base.
