This chair is quite comfortable. It is plastic and metal. It holds my husband. He’s not anywhere near 880 but I’d say 250. I can’t comment on the weight limit but it is solid. Loved that the chair is all black, love the vinyl material, that it is strong enough to hold me (275 pounds), that it isn't heavy and has the handle on top, is comfortable, fits under the desk beautifully, slides well, but there is a down side as well. Chairs need to have a seat height option of at least 20-22 inches for some who experience knee issues (I hope Flash Furniture sees this). Hence the lower star rating. I chose this chair due to a recommendation from another customer who used the chairs for playing poker. I purchased four chairs. They are comfortable and easy to assemble with an electric drill. They come with an attached heavy/sturdy metal plate to the chair legs. You then screw the metal plate with the attached legs to the bottom of the seat. The chair is one piece. No assembly. Very nice design as you don't have to screw in individual legs. Very sturdy chair, not wobbly. I doubt anyone could flip over due to their weight. I chose light grey wool with walnut legs. Impressed! It’s hard to find non-wood chairs. Our house is full of all types of wood so I wanted another material and these fit the bill. My husband also requested chairs with cushions. Extremely sturdy! Will hold people of all sizes. Holds my heavy purse on the corner without tipping as well. I think they’ll last forever, which was another goal. I’m over having to rebuy cheap furniture all the time. We can continue to use the frame and update the seat cushions as trends change over time or the fabric wears out since they are removable. Our set is Anodized Nickel with Canter Folkstone fabric on seats. The fabric color is a little lighter than I had hoped, but still very happy. Will just take more effort to keep clean. Seem like they’ll wipe down well though. Used them with a 42” round glass top table in our breakfast nook. They arrived perfectly packaged and fully assembled. Well done!
