This piece is unbelievably beautiful. The shade is like a little piece of artwork. I included a picture of the original shade that came with my house so that you can see the size difference. Everything was already threaded the only thing that I think could be a problem is if you wanted to shorten the length of the pendant light, you have to thread everything to take out the centerpiece of the post. But it is this beautiful, nickel finish that looks both silver and gold in the light And this beautiful hombre and crackle finish to the lampshade itself. We however are fortunate to live in an era when NUT can adorn our own little castles; a powerful symbol of our exquisite breeding. We can thank the brilliant Marivi Calvo and Ray Power for their valor and insight. Long may they reign supreme.
