I’ve always had Baldwin handle sets for the craftsmanship. These are always very heavyquality pieces . This time I went with the Venetian Bronze for a new house and it’s perfect. The finishes are very high quality and really last in tropical, humid, and harsh climates. Beautiful! I wanted a burnished gold handle to accent my new, pink door color. Although not quite as "gold" as it looked online, it still makes a great addition to my "new" front door. The install was pretty straightforward. I did have to run to the hardware store, though, because, if you don't have a long handle like this, you need to drill an extra hole into the door. We did a partial remodel and the tile regrout is next. Tub reglaze was done just before thus install and a truly great idea. Unfortunately, our plumber felt land locked into using a Symmons system to match our existing Symmons valve. We could not make Delta system work without a massive tear out. Universal valve didn’t solve the fit and screws in wrong location. So this Symmons was forced as Plan B. The Delta champagne gold was our intention and had already been installed in vanity without a problem. Not loving this very polished brass color. On the BRIGHT side The shower head is huge with 7 variations for water patterns. This is a 3rd floor main bathroom and I wish it had more pressure. 1.5 gpm and we are on a well. There were no install problems encountered by plumber using our original Symmons valve. And because it is a modestly priced unit, maybe we will swap out to a detachable spray head later on. Just know on the color - this is NOT even close to the Delta champagne gold. That is softer dreamy color and all quality, not at all like Symmons brushed brass.
