Heater works well on our patio. We've used it several times already. The heat distribution is even and instant. We like the fact that it has a HIGH and LOW setting. I have an old water tank on it's last legs. My reasoning for buying this GE tank was to prolong the life of my existing tank. I'll keep it in site of the old hot water tank.
