I’ve been using this iron for a few weeks now, and it’s honestly made ironing way less annoying. The soleplate glides really smoothly, even over thicker fabrics like jeans, and it doesn’t snag or stick. It heats up pretty fast, which is great when I’m in a rush. Installation is CONFUSING (lots of stupid little diagrams rather than words). Once you get past that, it works well and looks nice. As others have mentioned, the volume controls for each function do not do very much. You can barely tell the difference between fully turned on and fully turned down. These are excellent commercial grade LED bulbs which can replace traditional HID metal halide/high pressure sodium bulbs. Ballast must be bypassed, as these use just normal 120V line voltage. These burn only 10% of the power as traditional HID bulbs, yet they produce the same lumen output. Also as advertised, these feature a sliding switch which allows you to select the wattage and lumen output, a fantastic feature which allows for some customization. Another great feature of these bulbs is the fact that they can be used in many standard base light fixtures with an inexpensive (not included) E39 adapter. Great for garages and other fixtures which allow the extra space for the larger height and width of of these bulbs. I purchased 2 of these lights for the nightstands in our bedroom. They are of very high quality and are exactly what we were looking for. We love the brightness and color temperature settings, as we use them for reading. The big selling point for us was the 26.5" long gooseneck arm. It is long enough to reach over the reading material and can be twisted into any position. Even when fully extended, the arm does not tip the light over due to the weighted base.
