I ordered the 50in linear electric fireplace for my bedroom and I love it. This is the second electric fireplace I have gotten and the other one I got was by a different brand and while I really like it, I like this one even more for its very subtle controls. I had to really zoom in so you can see them. From standing height you cannot see the switch and you cannot see the blacked out controls on the face of the fireplace. I’m happy with how this electric fireplace looks. Right now, I have it hanging on the wall, but it can also be recessed. My husband is going to cut the drywall and recess it, and I think it will look even better once it’s built into the wall. There are several flame colors to choose from, and the brightness can be dimmed depending on the look you want. It also has a heater that can be turned on or off, which will be nice for chilly evenings. The remote makes it easy to control, and it also has a timer.
