Great quality and love the simple design. I didn't use this on a door that was made for a dummy handle, it was a working handle before. So the bolts didn't work with the hole that was already made in the door but I figured out a way to use a backer to hold it on. It won't be visible from the back so it works.. Susan. IN. Listen, is it kind of ridiculously expensive Yes! Have I found it to be worth it Yes! Now, here’s the caveat, I purchased this for our downstairs bathroom. I’m not sure if I’d be willing to buy two of these for a double vanity due to the price. The best thing about this faucet isn’t the elegant design or color, it’s the fact that my two toddlers and husband can turn this thing on full blast and it won’t spray everywhere like our other faucets do. I didn’t realize how important this was to me, until we had it and now I can never go back to exploding water. So much less clean up. Ps. We still need to add a little wood filler, stains and paint to cover a small bit of the hole in the door at the top of the handle. This went on my interior laundry roommudroom door. Due to humidity and occasional dampness, the old, cheap knobs would become hard to turn. I have issues with arthritis in my hands. This is so easy to use compared to the round knobs.
