The tub is very deep. The length of the tub is only 5 ft minus the large edge around the back of the tub. A tall person may find it a bit tight. All was in working order. Our only disappointment which is why I didn’t rate it five stars was it came poorly packaged. The tub was just sitting in the box, nothing to protect the corners, nothing wrapped. If you are looking for a deep soaking tub this is it. This is a tub that is manufactured to be a soaking tub or jets to be installed. I really love the tub. The best thing to get in and turn on pump and air. The only thing is the heater is to small. It takes almost an hour to heat the water. I have the 6 ft. by 36in. jet tub. Then the drain stopper won't hold water...so what's the point of having a whirlpool tub that won't hold water.
