Very quiet compared to most brands I’ve had. I do think it could be a littler cooler on max but it will eventually cooldown the room and maintain good temp after. This dryer is awesome. It seems like it takes longer than a normal dryer, but it really doesn't. We don't have to run it 3 times to dry towels. It can fit a lot of towels. It can dry our king size comforter with ease. It uses about 1/4 the power of our old normal dryer. It also is really good at removing pet hair from clothes. The heater doesn’t exactly heat the whole room when it’s super cold out, but it definitely takes the chill out of the air and warms it sufficiently to make it possible to use the room in winter. I did buy an air purifier filter and received it yesterday so I’m reading the directions to see how to put it in.
