Out of the box, this griddle will NOT fit a Prestige 450, but I found it was easily altered to fit. As it is designed to fit the larger surface area of a Prestige 500, the rear spacer needs 1/4” cut off each side, and a small notch cut (see attached photos). The griddle is also too large front to back, but a couple of self-tapping screws along the back edge and inside the front lip of the barbecue prevent any movement. This griddle is really well made. Being stainless steel, there’s no seasoning needed - just clean with water after use to steam clean any food residue off. These are excellent commercial grade LED bulbs which can replace traditional HID metal halide/high pressure sodium bulbs. Ballast must be bypassed, as these use just normal 120V line voltage. These burn only 10% of the power as traditional HID bulbs, yet they produce the same lumen output. Also as advertised, these feature a sliding switch which allows you to select the wattage and lumen output, a fantastic feature which allows for some customization. Another great feature of these bulbs is the fact that they can be used in many standard base light fixtures with an inexpensive (not included) E39 adapter.
