i have to admit i had no idea what to expect. Truly i just thought these would be some cheap light weight metal brackets. they were delivered very quickly. I went to pick up the box off the patio... again, thinking these were probably some cheap light weight metal brackets, but the box was heavy! quite heavy. I brought them in and pulled them out of the box and was very surprised and pleased at the weight and quality of these brackets. We had spent a lot of money on a large under mount hand hammered copper metal sink and i was concerned about the weight of the sink being carried by just the cabinet. i found these online and took a shot at them. very stout piece of metal and nice construction. Installing this in a dry-walled garage, for instance, will take some doing including cutting away drywall and add 2x4 supports. These shower doors are beautiful! The glass is thick and feels sturdy. The height allows the water to stay in the shower area. The directions were easy to follow, and the unit was fairly easy to install.
