The base cabinet was pretty beat up. Unfortunately I’ve come to expect this on large shipped items. Assembly was not so bad and the grill looks good from the front. The assembly instructions are terrible (lost a star for that) but we got it together after finding a you tube video. Great looking compact grill. Perfect for our lanai needs. Terrific color, we choose to go with the stone color. Suggestion when assembling open and separate ALL pieces and parts. Many parts in the first couple of steps are located inside a box, inside the main part of the grill. I did not see them until I was further into the assembly. But overall, the assembly was fairly simple, and the directions were clear and easy. We just used our new grill for the first time this past weekend. The heat distribution is different than our last grill, but Ill get the used to the new heating optio soon enough. Again, great looking unit once set up. Out of the box, this griddle will NOT fit a Prestige 450, but I found it was easily altered to fit. As it is designed to fit the larger surface area of a Prestige 500, the rear spacer needs 1/4” cut off each side, and a small notch cut (see attached photos). The griddle is also too large front to back, but a couple of self-tapping screws along the back edge and inside the front lip of the barbecue prevent any movement. This griddle is really well made. Being stainless steel, there’s no seasoning needed - just clean with water after use to steam clean any food residue off. Nice look, have only used it a week but have not had any stains, etc. Easy to clean and matching drains look nice. Update - have had it for 4 years now so downgraded to 4 stars from 5. Like the sink,works well,looks good. Only compaint is that over time the center divider can get very small chips/wear. This is a sturdy, quality sink that is just as described. It is packaged well so there aren’t any knicks or scratches in it. I love that it comes with the grid so I can protect the bottom of my sink.
