I have never bought a mattress online and was not really sure about it being compressed, rolled up, and in a compact box for shipping. I was pleasantly surprised at how little effort it took to set up once unpacked, and how quickly it took shape all on its own. Wow, they really have perfected these hybrid mattresses to my amazement! It was like any other high end store bought mattress, and just as comfortable to lay on. It has this high density foam and gel infused layers, so you can not feel any springs. There is a spring system though for durability, and they say there are layers of cotton through them keeping it soft and contouring to your body. These independent pocketed springs keep the mattress feeling level throughout and helps with stabilizing motion. I do not know how they do it, but the comfort is top notch, and it even has this cooling technology memory foam on the top of it for moisture control. I never had a black mattress, but with a pad and fitted sheet you can not see through it. It holds up to 800 lbs so no worries about it sagging any time soon. So far, I am very happy with it. Thanks Wayfair!. Julie. Brentwood, TN. Thu Jun 25 2026

I ordered the 14-inch King size hybrid mattress. The box was mutilated upon delivery and re-taped. However, the way the mattress was wrapped tightly in a thick plastic, the mattress was not disturbed. I will warn you this type of mattress being a hybrid, when you unseal the plastic, will fly abruptly open and I would highly recommend opening it up in the room you plan on setting it up, especially a king size. The first night wasnt good for me. Luckily, I gave it another night and I did so because the mattress really felt comfortable. I guess your body knows that something is different and I am a very light sleeper. After a week of sleeping on the mattress I am really pleased, so is my husband. We dont overheat as our last mattress was all foam and would retain heat amongst being a little too stiff. I will say that the material on the bottom of this mattress is not the same great quality as the rest. Even though you dont see it, it should have the same quality all over hence why I gave 4 stars, otherwise its perfect. The old mattress is out and this one will stay!. Michelle. PA. Thu Dec 04 2025

I was reluctant to purchase a mattress online because I've always tested out options in store. The reviews were very helpful but ultimately what convinced me was the double sided use. I do prefer the softer white side of the mattress and can see the benefit of switching to the firmer side after years of use. After a week on the mattress I am SO glad I made the purchase. So far, I’m in love! Just unboxed and letting take more shape for the day before we sleep on it tonight but, wow! Our last mattress was a Puffy, all foam, and plush. It was wayyyy too soft for us and was killing our backs. So I took a chance on this after reading the reviews and getting in for the sale. Best decision ever! I’m not exaggerating. It’s not even fully formed yet but I know it’s going to be a massive improvement and just what we needed for better back support. The shallow pillow top adds a softness that’s needed so you don’t feel like you’re sleeping on the ground. But the firm structure underneath is absolutely incredible. The best of both worlds! Exactly what we hoped for!. Lauren. Pittsburgh, PA. Sun Jun 07 2026
