In our house, we’ve been through about a dozen different office chairs (thanks to working from home and teenagers who sit in theirs for both homework and gaming). We’ve tried a number of different brands of office and gaming chairs at different price points. And unfortunately, we were disappointed in this chair for the price. The chair looked nice, had a comfortable but breathable mesh seat, and claimed to have all the features we tend to look for: adjustable seat height, arm height, headrest, and lumbar support. The foot rest looked like a nice bonus. But once we put the chair together, we found we could not make the seat height or lumbar support adjust. It isn’t clear whether the hydraulic switches were malfunctioning, but if so, the manufacturer may be able to provide support or a replacement and fix the issue. The headrest only moved a small amount to adjust it, and this was not controlled by the same switches. It was also very tough to move up and down to the right height. The footrest was also difficult to pull out to use. The star-shaped base was plastic and came with some scuffs on it. I loved that the chair came with a good assembly manual. This chair is SO comfortable! The Material is an amazing quality, and is such a smooth soft faux leather. The padding and cushioning of the chair is just right for sitting many hours at a time comfortably. My favorite feature is the width of the chair seat. I like to sit with my legs crossed and there is plenty of room for this. The chair rolls and turns very smooth. The electric recline is a really nice touch if you need to kick your feet and and relax for a bit. I do wish the foot rest would raise on its own, but in order to pull the foot rest up, you also have to recline that back, so that is the only thing I would change about this chairs design. The chair has a battery pack so you do not need to keep it plugged in to use the electronic recline feature. First, it's pretty. Since I work at home, it's nice to not have a boring office chair in my house. I admit that my assistant put it together, (sounds bougier than it is, she loves doing this kind of this and asked if she could.) She said it was super easy. I like the adjustment capabilities. I can get it to exactly how I need it to work sitting upright or in a virtual meeting etc. The best part is when I want to chill on a call or because I'm about to pull my hair out, I can recline and use the footrest. I’ve been using this office chair for a few weeks now, and overall, I’m very happy with it. The quality is excellent, and the seat is incredibly comfortable, even for long hours of work. One unique feature I really appreciate is the coat hanger on the back of the headrest—it’s a thoughtful touch you don’t see often. The adjustable armrests are also a great feature, as they can be easily raised or lowered to fit different desk heights or personal preferences. However, there are a couple of downsides that keep this from being a perfect 5-star product. The chair rolls *very* easily on tile, making it almost too sensitive to movement. I’ve had to get a mat to keep it in place. Additionally, the assembly process was time-consuming—it came in a lot of pieces, and putting it together took longer than expected. That said, once it’s set up, it’s a solid, comfortable chair with some nice extra features. Pros: 1) The chair looks exactly like the picture. This is the first time an online purchase I've made looks EXACTLY like the pictures provided. Usually, there are slight differences... the color might look different, etc. 2) The material is very soft and the color is beautiful! 3) It was easy to assemble (with exception to 1 caveat, see below) The cons: 1) Poorly aligned pre-drilled holes, combined with poorly molded hardware (screws) make what is a simple assembly, incredibly frustrating and unnecessarily difficult. 2) Thankfully, the assembly was self explanatory because the instructions provided were useless. 3) The back doesn't adjust the way described. Overall, the chair isn't nearly as comfortable as I'd hoped. However, it's good enough that I will keep it versus having to disassemble and return it. I understand at this price point, you're not getting a high end desk chair. However, I was still disappointed by the quality of materials and quality of the pre-fabrication.
