It is an extremely versatile color, it looks great with fall colored pillows for autumn, Christmas color schemes, you name it. My only concern is that the tufted buttons do seem slightly loose. If sat on for too long a piece of clothing could snag and pop one of them out, but a tufted button is an easy at home repair with any tufted sofa so don’t let that worry you. So, first of all, I do love the chair. It seems to be pretty well made. It is, as others have said, not a very comfortable chair. It’s very firm. It fits my needs in the corner of our bedroom. I am 5’7” and it is a 90 degree bend for my legs on the floor. The back of the chair ends at the top of my shoulders. We wanted a mid-century modern chair to coordinate with our blue bedding and even though this is more on the teal side than blue, it does seem to blend well. What did not blend well though, was the legs and bottom frame. They are not brown as the stock pictures would suggest. They are a very ugly and stark orange. We removed the frame and legs and repainted them an espresso bean color (Behr paint in eggshell finish). It looks 100% better. Overall I give it a 4 out of 5.. Vicki. Bargersville, IN. Assembly was easy, although beware there may not be pilot holes for the screws in the bottom of the chair (the wood frame does have pilot holes). A big thanks to Wayfair and the manufacturer helping with that. If you don't have pilot holes, you can still screw into the chair, using the holes in the frame as the guide. I was worried there were no reviews yet, but took a chance. I’ve been looking for a navy blue velvet arm chair that was a mid century modern style, had deep seat, but not too wide for our space (less than 36 inches). The chair is as pictured and also the specs are accurate. However, I should have realized the back is not as high as our old chair but I’ve improvised and added a pillow for me to rest my head. The legs also seem darker than in the pics. It is comfortable to sit in so far and I prefer a firm seat. The back pillow has a zipper so you can take it out to clean or you can change the insert padding and it is reversible. The seat cushion also has a zipper and is removable but you can’t use the other side because it has velcros. Love the deep navy blue color and the soft velvet. Chair is exactly as pictured in Wayfair’s posting, very modern and a nice size. I took one star off the rating for two reasons. The first is that it doesn’t have a reversible/flippable seat cushion. The second reason is that the upholstery really attracts pet hair, so if you’re a pet owner, just be aware that this fabric requires diligent cleaning. These are very nice chairs, and pretty easy to assemble. The arms, back and bottom of chair are factory assembled, so you just have to pull a flap down the back and attach the velcro strips together on the bottom of the chair, then attach the legs. The seat cushion is fairly firm, but will likely soften with use. The back cushion is comfy. The seat cushion has velcro on the bottom to hold it in place. The back cushion is not attached, but fits snuggly between the arms, so it stays in place without having to reposition it after you get up. The seats are wide, they're a good size for larger people.. I am very happy with my chairs. The size and color are just as expected. I did order samples of upholstery, which I highly recommend. By doing so, as seen in the photos, I was able to match very closely with my footstools. The seaming is beautifully done. HOWEVER, the reason for my four stars, is that the seat cushion extends several inches over the edge of the chair as seen in the photo. I’m quite sure this will affect how the seat wears over time..
