The Statement Piece My Guest Room Was Missing I've been slowly building out our guest bedroom to feel like a real retreat — somewhere guests actually want to stay — and this bed is the anchor piece I didn't know I needed. The wingback headboard is stunning in person. It photographs beautifully, but what surprised me is how substantial it feels — we're talking a full 51-inch-high headboard with real foam padding. Guests can actually sit up comfortably in bed, which matters. The chenille upholstery has the most beautiful texture — soft, cozy, and that warm beige tone works with just about everything. I styled it with neutral linen bedding and some earthy tones, and it looks like something out of a boutique hotel. Assembly was straightforward, and I love that no box spring is needed — one less thing to deal with. The slats lock in place and we haven't had any squeaking or shifting at all.
