The artistry is vividly displayed in this collection with designs ranging from contemporary florals to traditional global motifs. Each richly-hued rug is hand-tufted by master weavers in India's top-quality wool. Several designs recreate the one-of-a-kind look of fashionable over-dyed antique rugs using a special multi-colored yarn that is meticulously colored using ages-old pot dyeing techniques. After the dye is carefully applied to each strand of wool, touches of organic viscose are added to soft silky luster as special highlights accents. Add a traditional touch to your floors with this classic wool rug. Finished in purple tones, it's perfect for framing your dining table or creating a welcoming entrance in the hallway.

With ultra-thin construction and a built-in non-skid backing, there's no need for an extra rug pad. And because it’s machine-washable, it’s ideal for busy families and pet owners.

I originally bought is for our patio but I loved it so much it’s in our kitchen. It’s a sturdy enough material that it can take some wear from walking in at the sliding of the chair. I didn’t need a rug pad, it’s staying in place and not doing that annoying walking thing. You would never know it’s for outdoors (I also bought the runner for my entry). Bonus, the thickness, it’s just enough to be stay in place but not so thick it lends to tripping on it for either the one on the kitchen or the entry. It’s good for folks that drag their feet. The colors are true to the picture, love it!. Caroline. Anaheim, CA. Fri Aug 15 2025

Love the rug outside.. Brenda. Dallas, TX. Thu Aug 06 2026

Overall I'm very happy with this purchase. I was looking for a wide runner in this woven style but was unable to find anything close to the 3' width I wanted. Being fairly good at diy projects, I decided to order two of the 3' x 5' Akihiro Geometric in green and pull the weaving on one end of each rug and knot them together to make a 10' runner. In my mind I was thinking, "This shouldn't be too difficult" haha. Well, it ended up being a painstaking project that I worked on for most of the weekend. Looking back, I would have chosen an easier way to do this than to individually knot each strand from each rug (see pic). I also should have paid closer attention to matching up the design as i pieced them together. Overall I'm satisfied, and the rug feels really nice to stand on during my long hours in the kitchen. The 3' width, and finsl 10' length provides comfort all down the length of my galley-style kitchen (look at the pic of the rug on my floor and you'll see how the final seam turned out). I placed a slip resistant material underneath, which also provides additional cushioning. I plan on spraying with a waterproofer or protector of some sort to help alleviate stains since it's now too large to machine wash. I love the design, color, and quality. Definitely recommend (though not recommending my diy project). I would not hesitate to purchase these rugs again, and definitely recommend them.. Renee. OH. Mon Mar 13 2023
