I purchased this primarily because I loved the vintage aesthetic, and it definitely delivers. It looks fantastic in my living room and is just the right size—not too bulky, but substantial enough to make a statement. One of my favorite features is that the turntable is hidden beneath the top, and you can completely close the lid while playing an LP. That gives it a much cleaner look than many decorative record players I’ve owned in the past. The built-in CD player is also a nice bonus and works very well. Like many all-in-one decorative record players, the built-in speakers leave something to be desired. The sound is perfectly acceptable for casual listening, but it’s not going to satisfy anyone looking for high-fidelity audio. Fortunately, it has outputs that allow me to connect my own powered speakers, and that makes a huge difference in sound quality. Overall, if you’re looking for a stylish, compact record player with multiple playback options and you’re willing to use external speakers for the best sound, I think this is an excellent value.. Even though the video killed the radio star, we love the 80s!  A decade of big hair, synth-pop, cassettes, and fashion still influences the runway today. Cheech!  We also love the tech-inspired, slightly gaudy electronics from this period, so we had sweet dreams of creating our take on an 80s entertainment system.  Introducing the sweet child of ours: the Eclipse. The Eclipse is a complete 3-speed turntable audio system right out of the box. Just plug and play your favorite 33 1/3, 45, and 78 RPM vinyl records, cassettes, AM/FM radio stations, and CDs. Because technology has improved a little bit in the past 30 years, you can also play music loaded on an SD card, or thumb drive, and stream your digital music thanks to a built-in Bluetooth receiver. Word!  We even included a remote control for you to use when you're dancing in the dark. Don't have a cow! Of course, you can make mixtapes as well. Needless to say, the Eclipse is butter, baby!
