So far this gazebo is beautiful in white. The only reason it loses a star is the anchors dont hold well to strong winds, nearly lost the thing in my neighbors yard with a 30mph gust of wind. We had to use concrete deck footings to keep it weighted down, since then no issues. The other issue is the white discolors too easily to a yellowish creme color. Fortunately, the discoloration still matches the house so it appears by design. But if you need it to stay white, it wont stay that way for some of it. Other than that assembly was pretty self explantory but does require two people to assemble so bear that in mind. It is also not rain proof. Assembly is a breeze with clear instructions, so you can skip the stress and start making outdoor memories fast, whether it’s casual playdates, family dinners, or quiet afternoons with a good book.

First, I would like to say that this is a heavy piece and will take two people to carry it into the house. Secondly, I would like to say that the directions are mostly okay. Some things to note about the instructions: The white nylon strings get attached to the plastic loops on the end of the canopy top-NOT onto the canopy itself. The directions make it look like it does but they go into the plastic loops on the four corners instead. Also, the directions want you to put the whole frame together, with the top on, before putting on the material. DO NOT DO THIS. It is MUCH easier to put the canopy cover on while it is on the ground! Then you should not have to use a ladder at all! Also, in the instructions it is not very clear to tell, but the Velcro straps go on the bigger square bar and the screen goes on the smaller tube style bars. To make it easier to install the curtain, line up the straps for the legs with the curtains. Third, you WILL need two people to put it together-at least for putting the top on. There is also a part where you will need to screw a nut into a small space that is impossible to get any other tools into. The instructions make it look like there is a bracket on the outside of the frame, but it is trying to get you to pay attention to the metal bracket that is inside the frame wall, so that you will mount it correctly. Also, there is a piece that will go inside the frame wall when you are mounting two pieces of the frame together. Because the drawings are in black and white it can be confusing to make out these directions. We tried to include pictures of the complicated areas. We found it worked well to use the tiny wrench they provided and squeezed it between the sidewall of the tube and the nut. It isn’t heavy to lift about it is very big and will require a partner to help put it up. I did show pictures of a couple of different ways you can tie back the curtain walls as well. I really liked this feature. Lastly, the part that was very disheartening was the sewing on the curtain. It was a mess. Pieces of string everywhere, the zipper on one of the curtains is sewn shut, and in places the curtain is not sewn at all. This was quite disappointing. I am pretty handy with a needle, so I will make the best of it. But it certainly made me sad to see. I did love that the very top of the canopy had a netting between it and the larger canopy! That will help to keep bugs out. I also loved the two hooks at the top of the frame for hanging things. I really liked that all the pieces were marked clearly and they even provided extra hardware for everything. I also REALLY appreciate that the ends of the canopy roof frame are adjustable so that putting the canopy top on and off is really easy. This will come in handy when we have major storms coming to us here in south Florida. Overall, it will work for us and is a decent buy for the price. I love this gazebo! Unfortunately my previous Wayfair gazebo collapsed due to the tremendous amount of snow and ice we received early in January. I should have removed the canopy, but have not been removing it in past years. Id simply go out with a long push broom and gently lift up each section to allow the snow to fall off. This storm was different. Lesson learned. Unfortunately, its tough to buy a canopy that includes the ribbing that holds it together and atop the frame. Wayfairs customer service department used the replacement canopy I had purchased then returned and applied it as a credit to my account. I then quickly found an open box gazebo, that in my opinion is of better quality. I was eager to get it up, despite the windy weather here in Quakertown PA, but its up and anchored to my concrete patio acquiring plants, comfy chairs and tables, garden decor, etc. (mostly everything purchased at Wayfair, of course)!. We ordered this canopy because its 12x12 as opposed to the normal 10x10 that is available at your local big box store or sporting goods store... the blue stores lol. We like that it has an enclosure because it will be perfect for winter cigar smoking. However, upon putting it together, the 4 side panels are difficult to line up and it would take quite some time and adjustment to actually seal the corners and keep cold air out. I dont think we will end up using it for the originally intended purpose after all. The one push easy up is pretty nice. Its far more user friendly as a shade structure than the ones from the blue guys. The frame itself is bowed a bit in the top support structure, indicating that the pieces dont quite fit right. These gazebos have really elevated our space and are great value for the money. We got two sets and the first set that was delivered didn't have instructions. Thankfully the second set did.
