This filter is responsible for removing dirt, rust, and most suspended solids, to protect the CTO carbon block filter. Block carbon is more effective than other forms of carbon in that it is finely ground up carbon packed into a solidified block. This means they have a higher density than other types of carbon filters and are therefore more effective in removing their targeted contaminants. The carbon block filter knocks out bad tastes and odors, removes over 90% of sediment and chlorine, and is highly effective on chemicals, like pesticides, herbicides, and industrial chemicals.

The slide itself is great inflates fast was very easy to put up. The kids have not used it yet with water in it because it is still a little cool where we are. The blower is strong enough to keep it inflated when in use. It has plenty of drain holes to allow for easy deflating of the slide. The tie downs hold it very stable. Netting at the top keeps the kids from falling forward on the slide. Seems to be very well-made time will tell. My Grandkids loved it.
