It will not blow you away or impress with high quality, but it is not cheap. It lands somewhere in the middle of the quality spectrum. For example the lumbar support (pictured) along with the neck and some other key parts are just plastic and not incredibly sturdy. The base arrived well packed and bubble wrapped but still came with dings scratches (pictured) and the base cover slip is a very cheap ( dirty) piece of plastic that is meant to be permanently placed there per the instructions but appears a bit tacky. However the chair is very sturdy, and the wheels glide very well. The seat is a large base that has plentiful cushion and is a very comfortable seat.
