Great looking pergola with easy to follow instructions. Took two adults about 7 hours to build with breaks in between. We also used the recommended expansion bolts to secure it to our cement patio. The wood is very soft so it does dent and scratch easily while we were building it but it doesnt look bad at all. Turned out nice. Had this professionally installed and mounted the post in concrete blocks to give more stability. The metal pieces itself is lightweight aluminum but when connected together it’s sturdy. Only gripe are the shade connector poles. Their means of connecting could be improved because they slide off & disconnect from one another every now & then but so far holds up well with rain when shade is pulled back. Beautiful wood pergola the smell of the wood is wonderful and the color amazing. Unfortunately I havent been able to assemble it as of yeat and I cant wait the michigan weather has been brutal. Now that it's installed, I'm VERY happy with the overall look and quality of the gazebo. It's attractive, sturdy and a nice addition to my back yard. I do feel obligated to give a mild warning to prospective buyers: - When the instructions say 2+ people are required at certain stages they mean it. DON'T do what I did (assembled the posts and beams upside down and flipped it over). Ripped bolt anchors, bent metal, lots of cursing. All fixable but not a good time. - The instructions only include pictures and there were more than a couple times I interpreted them incorrectly . I ended up having to remove and re-install parts after having that "ah-hah" moment . Not the end of the world but it adds time. - Nuts and bolts are made of soft metal. You WILL have lots of stripped bolts if you use a power drill ( a must if you want to speed things up) and are not super careful. Good news is Sojag provides lots of extra parts. But... - Having so many extra parts means you'll constantly second guess whether your missing something; especially since there are holes that don't need anything. Don't be surprised if you have a sandwich bag full of random parts at the end. In spite of these minor issues, I love my new Gazebo.. Anonymous. Sun Apr 05 2026

We researched swing sets for so long. We read so many reviews and stressed over it. We finally went with this one because it had a lot going on but was also compact for our small space. We absolutely love it. It looks incredible. There are so many things to do on it and it looks so beautiful. Someone even asked me if it was the stock photo! So yes, the photo I attached is actually our yard! It took my father four full days to build. He is extremely handy and good at these things so it wasn’t too hard for him, just very time-consuming.
