The vent hose was very large and had to be reduced to fit properly through the ceiling. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We love our new Bosch dishwasher. We waited a loooong time before finally biting the bullet and buying a Bosch, but we are so delighted that we did. Our old dishwasher ran so loud and left a stench from the moisture being caught inside the dishwasher after a wash. But not with the Bosch it cleans like a champ and gets all the hard stuff off the dishes that sometimes we cannot scrub off ourselves prior and it pops the door open once the are cleaned and the dishes are dry when we put them away.
