I try to install it, but the client wasn’t happy because he did a lot of money, but it is what it is. Basement Bathroom with Kohler Grid Style Shower Door! We had been searching for a shower door for our new basement bathroom. We didn’t want to spend a ton of money on a shower door for a bathroom that may not be used much. The “grid” style door is what we wanted but a custom shower door seemed to be our only option to achieve this look. We came across the Kohler shower door and fell in love. I like the combination of transparency at top with gradual opacity from a pattern of frosted dots that merge lower on the doors . Doors have a CleanCoat surface on the bath side that have kept them pretty spot free, even with my hard water, although I use a squeegee regularly as well. One of the doors did come with a horizontal line mark on the lower frosted surface, which I assume was from the cardboard packaging rubbing against it. Haven't been able to remove but not very noticeable. Installation took a few hours - measured twice then cut conservatively and used metal file to ensure close fit. Look for YouTube videos for tips on drilling into ceramic tile if your tub surround has it - saved me big headache.
