This sink is just the right size! A sink is not too big and not too small for all the styles of a farmhouse sink in a smaller space. Because the fireclay dimension can vary it is best to allow for minimum cabinet space. The classic apron boasts a full height to make an impression. The sink comes with an included bottom grid and basket strainer drain. Elegant lines taper slightly from the top to the bottom of the basin. There are many benefits to fireclay. Its glazed surface inhibits bacterial growth more than stainless steel. Due to the firing process, dimensions are nominal and may vary to actual up to 0.25". A custom cabinet is required to support the weight of this sink. A note about fireclay: small cracks will appear on the unglazed underside of the sink, these are cosmetic only and have no impact on the performance of the sink.
