Despite being well package, the first shipment arrived with a hole in the box (clearly punctured during transit, bad FedEx!) and all of the salad/pasta bowls were shattered. We were quickly shipped a new set and it arrived quickly and undamaged. We selected this set specifically because it offered the wide and shallow salad/pasta bowls rather than coffee cups as we use this style of bowl frequently. We believe this would be even better set if the cereal bowls were replaced with dessert/app small plates, but maybe that is just us (we don't eat cereal.) The color is as shown, if perhaps a bit brighter. The glaze is consistent except for one piece that has a flaw. For us, one of the best things about the plates is the taller lip that sits on the very outer edge of the plate. It means that there is more plate surface (not taken up by a gradual incline to the edge/lip) and also this is functionally better for dishes with sauces. We definitely recommend this product!. My SIL had similar dishes and I loved them. These just arrived yesterday and match my modern farmhouse vibe perfectly. Havent used them yet, but they are absolutely beautiful and great weight.
