Surface mount PVC gable vents are not only long-lasting, durable, and easy to install, but they instantly add tremendous value and character to the exterior of a home. Upon arrival, the PVC should be painted before installation with the exterior color of your choosing. PVC gable vents are available in a functional option, to allow airflow, and in a non-functional option, if you want to simply enhance the architectural features of your home. Keep the traditional look of an exterior gable vent, without the downsides of traditional wood, by ordering PVC gable vents.

It's almost perfect for where I put it. I have a very high (~12') octagonal window in my bedroom, and it's impossible to find a shade that's right for it. But the sun shines in that window right in my eyes and wakes me up at 6am every morning, so I wanted to cover that window without making it look ridiculous. I have white plantation shutters on the lower windows, so it looks nice with those. The reason I didn't give it a higher rating is because there was a choice between "functional" and "non-functional" versions of this cover, but the terms weren't defined. I assumed they meant that functional has moving slats, and non-functional was slats that don't move. So I ordered the functional version to be sure I could close them all the way But what they meant was that functional has holes between the slats (for allowing airflow in an attic, I guess), and non-functional is solid - no holes. I should have gotten the non-functional version, because it would have blocked all the light. But I couldn't wait another day to get rid of that early morning light, so I just installed it right away and started getting the benefit of blocked light in the morning. It's much better, but I might someday replace it with the non-functional version.. Cheryl. Redwood City, CA. Tue May 09 2023

Great Quality and Perfect for Hard-to-Find Window Sizes I bought these shutters for one of our smaller windows and had a hard time finding the correct size through other websites and big box stores. Wayfair had so many more size options, so these ended up being the perfect solution. I’ve purchased Lifetime vinyl shutters from other vendors before and have always been impressed with the quality, and these were no exception. Installation was extremely easy, and they immediately elevated the look of what was otherwise a pretty plain window. I was especially impressed with how sturdy they are. Some raised panel vinyl shutters can feel flimsy and may crack during installation, but these are surprisingly rigid while still being lightweight and easy to handle. I also really like the realistic woodgrain texture. I’ve had them installed for a while now and haven’t noticed any fading from the sun. Between the quality, easy installation, great selection of sizes, and fast free shipping, I would absolutely order another set if I needed them.. Amy. FL. Sun Aug 09 2026

Bring the warmth and character of aged timber to your ceiling without the weight, cost, or labor of solid wood. Heritage Timber faux wood beams are cast directly from real, weathered timbers, so every grain line, saw mark, and hand-cut detail is authentic - reproduced in lightweight, high-density polyurethane that one person can comfortably lift and install. Each beam is moulded as a single piece rather than assembled from separate panels, so the corners stay clean with no visible seam lines. The result reads as solid timber from across the room and up close. Choose from four distinct textures - the clean grain of Mena, the weathered character of Salvaged Timber, the refined surface of Sanded Smooth, or the rugged, hand-worked feel of Reclaimed Axed Cut - in hand-applied stained finishes or a primed, ready-to-finish option you can paint or stain to match your space. The hollow U-shaped design slides over a simple mounting block, or wraps an existing structural beam, ductwork, or wiring, and installs with standard tools in an afternoon. Impervious to warping and cracking, Heritage Timber beams keep their good looks with minimal upkeep - timber style, up in a weekend.

The faux Wood beams are absolutely perfect. The only problem I had is that they did not come with in caps to cover the ends once they were put up. Great product and light weight, perfect for covering pipes in the basement .. Anonymous. US. Fri Sep 18 2026

Amazing...I grappled with buying these columns for 2 years, because of the non-refundable policy, so I had to be sure. I have a small porch so I knew I couldnt get the columns to wide or the proportions would look odd. So I used makeshift cardboard and the like to determine what to buy...I made the best decision with the 5.63 width columns they look amazing. My contractor bought 5 wood post from our local big box store and used brackets to install them on the porch. He used his nail gun to fasten each wrap to the wood post, he said it was rather simple to install. Next he caulked all the small nail gun holes and painted ( per instructions for winter protection) looks amazing. I wanted to leave a detailed review because I couldnt find a detailed review when I decided to purchase these columns.. Mia. Redford, MI. Fri Jan 20 2023

Transform your ceiling into an elegant, beautiful, and timeless display that will make a statement and add tremendous value to your living spaces, Inner Beam 8" H x 94.5'' W x 2" D Coffered Ceiling is a classic architectural design that brings out depth and dimension to an, otherwise, plain ceiling. What was once considered an expensive luxury, is now an affordable pursuit for a home that defines you.

nicely made polystyrene pieces which are well designed, but require an expert carpenter for a quality installation due to slight variations from piece to piece, injected molded from similar but not identical molds. Per my carpenter, these were convenient, but required a tremendous of finesse and adjustments at every miter joint to look right. Quality glue (PL Premium) and a solid substrate that will not move (a grid of 1x3's glued and screwed to ceiling joists) are essential for stability. Overall "a wash" in terms of time and expense compared to having full boxes and mouldings constructed the old fashioned way. For the curved bay windows straight pieces needed to be hollowed out, bent, and carefully glued and tacked in place under high tension. Happy with the results but did not save time or expense compared to old fashioned box beam and molding construction.. Paul. MA. Thu May 26 2022
