This molding is sturdy and lightweight. Easy install. Only difficulty encountered was matching patterning at the end of a piece especially when using the corner pieces. But I dont think it is super noticeable. Overall great product!. Veronica V. Sat Nov 30 2019

Nickel gap wainscoting offers a clean-line, modern take on shiplap with an interlocking tongue and groove profile so they don’t overlap at all. The tongue fits in the groove, once installed on a surface, the boards have a gap between them, so you don’t get warping that causes shiplap boards to look crooked or uneven. Our ceiling medallion collections are modeled after original historical patterns and designs. Our artisans then hand carve an original piece. Being hand carved each piece is richly detailed with deep relief, sharp lines, and a truly unique touch. That masterpiece is then used to create a mold master. Once the mold master is created we use our high-density urethane foam to form each medallion. The finished look is a beautifully detailed, lightweight, solid construction, focal piece. The resemblance to original plaster medallions is achieved only by using our high-density urethane and not vacuum-formed, "plastic" type medallions. Medallions are lightweight for easy installation and come primed and ready for paint. These are in stock and available for immediate shipment. Our whole one-piece medallions are cut in two for you, making installation a breeze.
