We were looking for valances or other treatments for our bathroom and bedroom windows, and determined these matched the window sill and crown molding in the rooms, so we used these as interior window headers. Attached is a pic of the installed brackets. Unfortunately,we no longer own this house so I can't send more pictures. But the brackets were the finishing touch to all of the mill work that I installed in the home. When we sold the house our realtor said that the mill work was a deciding factor in the buyers choosing our house. I was impressed with the quality and ease of installation. If I remember correctly, I used construction adhesive to install them and did not use any fasteners of any type. They really added that finishing touch to the beam between our kitchen and dining room. I would rate the quality five stars! Crown moulding adds a beautiful finish to elegant rooms. To get this look you would simply hire a professional to figure out and install all of the complicated miter cuts. This made the cost of crown moulding more expensive as this method can be labor intensive. Not anymore. Our moulded inside and outside corners make installation a breeze.
